About Me!
Name's is Despoina, but you can call me Des (She/They).
I'm a Venezuelan born artist and author, born in the mid 90s I spent a lot of my time drawing and creating with legos in my room. The internet would eventually start to become an important thing for me around my pre-teens when I started to visit cyber cafes to play online and also for the odd homework.
I eventually got my own personal computer and with it access to the internet, I was a teen of the forums and Deviant art and it was around that time I also started doing digital drawing and well I also started learning a bit of HTML and CSS but those have always been more on of a pain in the arse.
I tried to study engineering for some years, because of my fascination around prosthetics and robotics, but alas that wasn't my calling and after failing for a year and a half I changed careers into art where I then worked for 4 years till I got my diploma.
From then on I began working, Visual Novels, Comics, Animations, The odd Game asset, etc. I've become proficient in a lot of skills and hope eventually this will lead to a series of original comic, games and animations and if I'm lucky maybe eventually the creation of a successful art cooperative that looks to help artist with publishing their work without having to be dependent to the corporate model.
